Our program focus on developing the students' listening, speaking and early literacy skills (which includes reading and writing skills). It is through the teaching of grammar, listening skills through computer aided-learning, vocabulary and sentence structure that children develop foundational language skills. Higher Mother Tongue students learn quantitatively more words per chapter. These words are also more advanced than the Mother Tongue syllabus. Students reading Chinese as a Higher Mother Tongue would be assessed in 3 separate components, namely, composition, comprehension and language usage.
*Note : For those students who wish to enroll into the Higher Achiever Class must at least scored 88% in their school academic performance during the SA examination.
